Everyone was easy to deal with. Ben from Factory Pools Joondalup came to our home and help with getting the right pool design for our awkward backyard shape. Lots of communication and always happy to answer any question we had. The install team was great organising the install to fit with our work schedule. As we had to use rear neighbours yard for access and we had a dig delay with hitting rock they were able to get everything sorted promptly for us.

Good experience. Provided a detailed quote with inclusions listed and explained well. Very clear of the max cost, rather than getting surprises later on. We didn't have the easiest setup with only 900mm access and long block, but all doable. Was quite a bit of project management between the groups but went well. Happy with the result.

What a great experience from start to handover. From the moment we met Don at O’Connor and all the people that have been to our home, the handover showing us how to use all our new toys, to the admin support from Kerry. Very happy with the overall service and quality of the install. We shopped around a bit and others seemed to be over promising on what we could safely fit within our constraints. Though after meeting with Don, his experience and advice assured us that the leash he was imposing on us would save us from a world of hurt in the future.

From start to finish the comms has been impeccable. There will undoubtedly be some issues that arise with a job this size, but the measure of a good company to me is how well they respond to those issues, and Factory Pools/BRP has passed with flying colours.

Pool install had a hiccup with collapse of a retaining wall during excavation. Initial communication was very poor and we felt we were left hanging. Once factory pools came to the table, everything was easy again. Sales room staff were great, as were pre installation team. Installers were all decent guys, we just felt uncomfortable with how they handled the collapse off the retaining wall and how defensive they were and reluctant to accept responsibility. This all changed when we presented a solution, but there was very little initiative on their part in the beginning.

We started our journey with Amy who answered all our initial queries and made recommendations on their “essential plus” package that gave us even better value and gave us confidence in the company and their customer service.

A few weeks later we visited Mandurah and finalised things with Dave and whilst disappointed with a May install date we understood we were late to the summer party. Then we got the call that they had a cancellation and could accommodate us almost two months earlier, happy day!

The installation was managed by Matt who was courteous, timely and listened to our requests and accommodated most of them, thanks Matt! Our dig did hit rock and obviously that ended up costing more but we understood that could happen and fortunately was only one day. Kerry and also the accounts team helped the journey positively as well with their timely communication, thanks.

Arlen finished the installation and was one of the most professional we have met ensuring we were informed as he managed the final days and again listened to our requests on the equipment positioning, great job!

Gary came in for the final clean and handover and left us with a clean pool and (mostly!) understanding the complexity of our system.

We are looking forward to many years of happy swimming!

Only complaint was sand that was dug from hole by excavator was not moved out far enough- so once pump installed, huge pile of sand was too close and sliding down underneath unit.

After looking into pools with several suppliers we decided to go with Factory Pools Perth and this turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We met initially with Miranda in the Joondalup display and immediately we knew we were in the right place. She was extremely helpful and thorough in her approach and let us know of all the options upfront. We were building a new home on a very skinny block so completing the pool after the build would have been very difficult and expensive. Factory pools worked with me and my timeframes to ensure this was installed prior to the build commencing. 15 months later once the home was complete the pipework and equipment was installed. They were professional the whole way through including all the internal staff and accounts people. Handover was completed and they squeezed me in just before Christmas which was amazing. Couldn't rate high enough and great experience.

After getting multiple quotes, we decided to go with Factory Pools. Don and his team at O’Connor were super helpful and provided us with the best pool for our space.

The installation dates were spot on when advices of time frames at purchase. Deposit paid 1st of July installation was on the 16th of September and pool hand over was about 3weeks after installation.

The install of my Horizon 5.5 was very efficient. The trades were precise and on time.

There were no extra or hidden costs.
During the site inspection they said the protection boards were not necessary.
We had a hand dig, due to limited access.
On the day we organised to have our dirt dropped off at a location near by.
We were refunded for tip fees and protection boards. No damage was done to our property during preparation and install.

They organise the Shire approval and got it done very fast. (Considering our shire is very slow with approvals)

Throughout the process they were very informative. The entire process was seemless. The entire team from sales to handover were fantastic and professional.

The wrong pool blanket was delivered. They had not received our remittance (turns out I forgot to email it.) It was no worries they got our below ground blanket box delivered and installed within the week and collected the above ground blanket and roller at the same time.

The heat pump was out of stock it was installed by green star solutions. About 6weeks after pool handover.

I highly recommend Factory Pools for a seamless stress free install.

Overall we had a great experience with Factory Pools Perth. The team from the sales team to our site supervisor and the team in the office were all great to deal with. While we didn't have any major issues, any questions or little things to sort out were no issue at all. We were delayed by a day with our dig but the install and dig team made up this time and still had the pool installed as scheduled.
Our installation team in particular did a great job working through the rain to get the install done.

The process was seamless coming in on the quoted price and on time, we couldn't be happier with the end product. The staff were all amazing, from the initial assistance provided by Kathy and Don, the install by Spencer and all the back office liaison offers who answered my many questions. We found the transparency and eagerness to assist at all times a breath of fresh air. Also a shout out to the crane operators who made my kids days, letting them sit in the crane and move the boom, it's an experience they'll never forget.

Installing a pool in the best of times is a big project without throwing a pandemic, product/equipment shortages and transport/delivery issues into the mix.
We did experience problems and hold ups and some days were very stressful, but at the end of the day, it’s how problems are dealt with and managed that matters. Used factory pools as we thought they were the best around for the money. Had a good contemporary range for less than some of the competitors. Had to wait a while for installation but that was expected. Installation day finally came. Site supervisor explained what was going to happen and informed us we would probably hit rock so we would have to pay extra for an excavator. He was right so that was fine. Had some other unexpected costs for sand dumping fees which we were not that happy about as we found somewhere close by for them to take it where they didn’t have to pay...

The next part of the installation was done by James the builder. He was very efficient and punctual, and got the job done quickly. After the pool was filled we then had to wait a week for the electrician to come and connect the pump etc.

Overall I would totally recommend factory pools, only a little gripe where it was quite difficult to get in touch with the pool liason person at times which was a little frustrating. Oh and we are still waiting for the pool cover so hopefully it won’t take too long.

We are really happy with the final product and the quality of the pool and equipment. The process of picking the pool, equipment and running through the council approvals was nice and smooth. However when it came to the install we felt like we were project managers. Constantly having to chase up subcontractors and remind office of lack of progress. There was not much communication through the construction build. Also some subcontractors would walk straight into the backyard and start working without the decency of notifying us that they were onsite. Overall we are super happy with the pool and would recommend factory pools but would only like them to improve their communications.

Initial purchase process was straight forward and Tony from Mandurah was a pleasure to deal with. Few delays with installation and then massive issues on dig day! The contractor used was aggressive and threatening and the additional variations to the digging were blown way over the top and he refused to provide any receipts for the additional charges. Of course site supervisor was not contactable. Hole was completed and the pool was supposed to be dropped that afternoon and it never arrived. No temporary fencing was installed and it didnt until we threatened reporting it to WorkSafe about 4-5 days. There was limited communication for the next 3 weeks with empty promises to reschedule the drop. Finally the shell was dropped in and the pool installer was James! Honestly could not ask for a better person to do it. He absolutely stopped at nothing to get it in. One of the lights broke while being craned in and he had a new one delivered within a few hours. He had the pool almost entirely installed and pencilled in by the end of the day despite delays in having to prep the hole to actually receive the pool. We can not thank James enough! He saved the relationship. Since pool handover we’ve heard very little from them and still waiting on final invoice and our pool blanket. The pool itself is wonderful. We are very happy with the quality of the equipment and the pool, the size etc. Its a mineral pool and we are very happy with that setup. We just advise to be weary of the “hidden” costs that sneak up on dig day.

Although we love the end result, we felt like the process was a little all over the place. Having not had a pool before we were unaware that there were different ways the pool equipment could be installed. Being tight for space we assumed the equipment would be mounted in a compact manner. It wasn’t but then they guys were more than happy to redo it for us. I’m not normally one to complain but this is our forever home. It had to be done right or forever bug me. Perhaps a drawing of what to expect and the options should be included in the pool layout plan that is signed off on. On top of this they removed too much sand and had to return on 3 separate occasions to backfill. It dragged on a bit but it’s hard to be mad when everyone we spoke with was just so nice.
